Ok, so i haven't blogged for wayyyy past 10 days already, suddenly decided to blog again! Currently it's 4+ in the morning and i am mugging! I'm not so hardcore as to have studied since 8 last night, i fell asleep at 8 and woke at 2, so i decided to study till about 5, then nap for awhile and go to school! Science exam today. Gah.

Science totally rocks and sucks. Im sorting out my revision now, my chemistry seems to have been revived already. I can't believe i turned down a science studying session with Jasper and Amanda, but ah well, leaving them together might have been better. Hmm, i shall revise my science here!

In a bimetallic strip, brass expands at a quicker rate than iron, thus causing the strip to bend.
Conduction is the transfer of heat without the flow of a material medium
Convection is the transfer of heat by means of a current in a fluid ( gas, liquid )
Radiation is the transfer of heat whereby the surface of the object continuall emits infrared rays which are transmitted without the aid of a medium.

Black, dull and large surfaces absorb radiant heat quickly.
Shiny, silver and small surfaces abosorb radiant heat slowly.
factors affecting the rate of evaporation: humidity, surface area, atmospheric pressure, Wind, Temperature, Boiling point of liquid.
When two objects are at the same tempearture, they are said to be at thermal equilibrium.

When an object loses heat, the particles move slower and come closer together. The volume decreases and this process is called contraction. Internal kinetic energy is turned into heat.
